La Canopée welcomes children from the youngest preschool class (Toute Petite Section, or TPS) through to the final year of primary school (CM2). We offer a high-quality bilingual education, with 50% of teaching time in English. Our native-speaking teachers support each child through a nurturing approach tailored to their individual learning pace, fostering both personal growth and academic excellence.

Registration Open for our holiday english stage 2026-2027
At La Canopée, the school holidays are an opportunity to enjoy a week entirely in English, led exclusively by teachers from our school—with no external instructors—in a caring and stimulating environment. Our holiday camps run from 9 am to 5 pm, with lunch included, and are open to children aged 3–5 and 6–11, whether or not they attend the school. Children are grouped by age, with small group sizes to make the most of their English immersion experience. Each week centres on a theme, with a variety of activities combining creativity, discovery and natural English language learning:
- Songs & drama: short sketches and songs linked to the theme, helping children build vocabulary and enjoy expressing themselves in English.
- Cooking & science: hands-on, sensory activities that encourage learning by doing—all in English.
- Arts & crafts: creative projects that develop imagination and self-confidence.
All activities are led by our native English-speaking teachers, Jenni and Leah, who have been part of the La Canopée team for several years.

🍂 Autumn — 19–23 October 2026
Ages 3–5: Planets and Space
An exploration of the solar system entirely in English, with crafts (rockets, astronauts and planets), cooking activities (cookies, rock cakes and fruit rockets), games and puzzles.
Ages 6–10: Among Gnomes and Trolls
A week exploring Scandinavian folklore, inspired by John Bauer’s illustrations: dance and drama in the mornings, drawing and costume-making in the afternoons, and an end-of-week performance for the whole school.

Ages 3–5: Dinosaurs
Fossil digs, crafts (dinosaurs, skeletons and eggs), cooking and drawing inspired by the prehistoric world.
Ages 6–10: Stone Age
A week discovering prehistoric life: how our ancestors lived, hunted, gathered food, made tools and created art, with stories told around the fire.

Ages 3–5: Community Workers
An introduction, in English, to the people whose jobs keep a community running: firefighters, doctors, bakers, postal workers and more.
Ages 6–10: Astrid Lindgren’s World — Pirates, Magical Lands and Friendship
An exploration of pirates, wild forests, magical lands, brave heroes and unforgettable friendships, inspired by the world of Astrid Lindgren.

Ages 3–5: Above & Below the Sea
A journey from the sea’s surface to the ocean depths, featuring boats, sandcastles, fish and ocean creatures.
Ages 6–10: Underwater Kingdoms
An underwater adventure discovering shimmering fish, mysterious creatures, mermaids and magical kingdoms, inspired by myths and legends.

The new school year is approaching, bringing a wonderful range of workshops to help your children explore new interests and pursue their passions.
This year, La Canopée offers a rich and varied programme designed to spark curiosity and help every child thrive:
Multi-Activity English Club
Every day brings something new: activities change daily, giving children fresh opportunities to discover and explore—always in English. Games, creative projects, group challenges… A fun and natural way to immerse themselves in English, with sessions on weekdays (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 3.15–4.45 pm or 4.45–6.15 pm) and Wednesdays (1.45–3.15 pm or 3.15–4.45 pm).
Debate Club
Learning to develop an argument, defend a point of view, listen to others and persuade—all in English. An ideal club for building self-confidence and fluency in speaking (Tuesday, 4.45–6.15 pm).
Sewing Club
A needle, thread and imagination: children create their own textile projects in a sewing workshop led in English (Friday, 4.45–6.15 pm).
Creative Expression in French
Drawing, painting, collage, cooking, writing… A creative space in French where children can explore different forms of expression and express themselves in their own way (Thursday, 4.45–6.15 pm).
Chess Club
Strategy, concentration and logical thinking take centre stage. Through chess, children learn to think ahead and make decisions (Friday, 4.30–5.45 pm).
Creative Writing in English
Every Wednesday, children set off on an adventure with words: stories, poems, imaginary characters… A workshop to develop imagination and writing skills in English (Wednesday, 3.15–4.45 pm).
English Holiday Camps
During the school holidays, children enjoy a full week of English immersion, from 9 am to 5 pm, with lunch included. A variety of fun, cultural and language activities help them improve their English while having a great time!
Our workshops are open to children from Petite Section (preschool) through to CM2 (the final year of primary school). Children can join one or more workshops, depending on their interests and your family’s needs.
