Our teaching is structured along two lines:

–  An interactive approach

Students at La Canopée learn to work collaboratively and productively. The will taking responsibility individually and giving the best of themselves.

–  A differentiated approach:

Teaching staff at La Canopée do not limit themselves to an exclusive philosophy. Whether it be traditional or progressive, a method is chosen to best suit the needs of the children and the concept that is being taught.

Our teaching methods are based on:

  • Initial experience of working with children with major academic or psychological issues
  • The official French curriculum
  • The official National curriculum used in England

These approaches which, when adapted, are applicable to all allow us to work with each child so that they fulfil their potential and work to the best of their capacity.
